Nikki Adeli Head Concierge
SLA sophomore Nikki has been buzzing like a bee in her school’s soccer and Ultimate Frisbee teams, Community Involvement Club, and debate team. She is also a Duke of Edinburgh Award Medalist, serving as a mentor to others earning their award.
This year, Nikki is taking over as the Head Concierge, overseeing the entire EduCon Conference Services operation. Nikki comes well qualified for the role, as she also is a spokesperson for a national youth health program called Fuel Up to Play 60. Fuel Up has allowed Nikki to travel to many different schools, cities, and states throughout the country.
In her spare time, you can find Nikki playing Eastern and Western classical music on her violin, or playing and watching her favorite sports.
Jhonas Dunakin Assistant Concierge, Film Crew Assistant
Jhonas, an SLA junior, will serve as this year’s assistant concierge. Jhonas has already distinguished himself as a crucial member of the SLA community, as a champion debater, the former captain of the SLA boys’ soccer team, and a consistent school volunteer. Jhonas’s experience has also gone far beyond the SLA walls; in fact, he placed sixth in the National Hispanic Institute Celebración (a youth debate) in San Antonio, Texas. Jhonas also interns at Cohen, Placitella & Roth, a Center City law firm.
It’s these skills, combined with excellent city navigation and public transportation experience, that make Jhonas a perfect candidate for Assistant Concierge.
Besides his academics, Jhonas spends much of his free time with his family and friends and enjoys running.
Dylan Long Director of Travel Services
SLA sophomore Dylan has immersed himself as an active member of his school. This year, Dylan will act as the Director of Travel Services, ensuring that attendees have everything that they need to get around the conference area. In his spare time, you can find Dylan, a drummer, playing and listening to rock music. He also enjoys playing Ultimate Frisbee and giving back to his community.
